Soils  The basic soil types as  per records of the Soils Division of the Department of Agriculture and Foods show that the municipality of Pres.M.A. Roxas has five basic soil types. These are the San Manuel Sandy Loam, Quingua Clay, Mandawe Clay, Dohinob Clay and mountain soil undifferentiated.

Tourism The Villaester Highland Spring Resort in  Barangay Salisig is the only  developed area for tourism.  Tulbong Falls in Barangay  Canibongan, Crystal Cave in Piñalan  are among the other areas that need to be developed for possible tourist attraction in the municipality.
