Boundaries It is bounded on the south by the mountain ranges of Sergio Osmeña,  Siayan and Sindangan, by the municipality of Katipunan on the east, the municipality of Manukan on the west, and the Sulu Sea on the north and northwest.   

The province of Zamboanga del Norte is  divided into three (3) Congressional Districts and composed of 25 municipalities and two cities. The municipality of Pres. Manuel A. Roxas belongs to the Second District and has Thirty One  (31) Barangays.  

Brief History The municipality of President Manuel  A. Roxas was separated from its mother town – Katipunan and created into district and separate municipal by virtue of Presidential Proclamation  No.177 of then President Diosdado Macapagal.
